However, do you know that downloading free music online is illegal? Yes, this might embarrass anyone but there is actually a law on this.  A music copyright law that states, a certain song or music cannot be downloaded unless there is a permission from the material’s owner. In addition, you can also only download a music by purchasing it. And for you to purchase them, there are online shops that are certified sellers like Amazon, Apple’s iTunes Music Store, Napster, Yahoo Music Unlimited and many more. Other than that, if you want to use the music for a certain, you must give credit to the music artist. Otherwise, that will also mean breaking the music copyright law.

This music copyright law exists in order to defend the professional musicians to make their own living from their own recordings. That is why we sometimes witness some superstars at present but later on, they are already running for money. The free downloading of music online can also cause music stores to close down because of bankrupty.

Probably, if you have a favorite song artists, it may just be better if you purchased his or her album as a part of helping her. It might be easy to say that you may never find out by the authorities downloading illegally. But, this is life, it is unpredictable sometimes. You will never know when you can’t pick lucky and get screwed in this kind of situations. So better you shouldn’t download illegally. It is better to spend less money on music than paying your future in courts.
